DTN is an Association operating within the legal dispositions of Cameroon Law No. 90/53 of December 19, 1990 on freedom of Associations and amended and supplemented by Law No. 99/11 of July 20, 1999 on freedom of Associations. Divine Treasures Network falls under the category of apolitical, charitable, humanitarian and nonprofit making associations. Our Head Office is located in Yaounde, Cameroon.
The network is expected to mobilize religious and lay individuals as well as institutions and organizations (both public and public) and provide a conducive platform to work in synergy. The goal is to contribute in curbing the unemployment and underemployment faced by a large proportion of today’s youth. This core problem has many implications and manifestations including falling educational standards, increased violence and crime even within the school milieu, increased banditry and robberies, more children trapped in the consumption of hard drugs, the growing phenomenon of sexual immorality, homosexuality, and so on.
DTN is born out of deep faith in the word of God and the belief that God has a plan and purpose for every human being. Certain situations in life, especially unemployment and poverty have pushed some of our youth to the point of desperation. Yet, we know that God uses some bad situations to draw us closer to himself. And as we abide in God through his word, our faith becomes strengthened and our hearts become wiser to better handle the greatness of our future.
Committed to a Culture of Merit: The great, bright and wonderful future we are talking about here does not happen by chance or overnight. It requires serious planning and hard work so that natural talents, education and training are aligned to qualify our youth for a successful and richly rewarding career. There is fulfilment in such a dream job not only in terms of financial gains but also through service to mankind and promotion of the common good.
